Lava has now officially announced that it will be unveiling the new Lava Blaze Dragon in India on July 25 at 12 PM and we have more on the news. The new smartphone will be sold through Amazon, and there’s already a dedicated microsite. This page is a first look at the back design of the phone, which features a rectangular camera module with a dual-camera sensors, an LED flash and the printed “50MP” word.
Amazon has the Lava Blaze Dragon on show in a striking gold colour – but there should be more colours available at launch. Live images posted by tipster Mukul Sharma feature another black colour variant with a rainbow-finished camera island. On the right edge of the frame are the volume rocker and power button.
As per leaks, the Lava Blaze Dragon will be based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset with a maximum frequency of 2.2GHz clock speed. The chipset, which is accompanied by a Kyro CPU, is reportedly capable of offering up to 10 percent better performance than its predecessor.
Memory of the Lava Blaze Dragon might give you:
- 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB (UFS 3.1) storage
- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage
- Plus up to 6GB of virtual RAM.
The device should run the latest ESD22A (Android 15) version out of the box. As for the camera segment, a 50MP AI main lens accompanied by an 8MP selfie shooter in a waterdrop notch could be expected. In terms of design, it’s rather angular with flat edges, a noticable chin and a contemporary, minimalist construction.

Backing up the device will be a 5,000mAh battery with USB Type-C charging up to 18W. Our first look at the handset on which this design we can confirm based on dummy units and giving us even more confidence about what the device will feature.
When it comes to pricing, the Lava Blaze Dragon could be pegged at the sub 10,000 category giving some stiff competition to the like sof the POCO M7, Vivo T4 Lite and iQOO Z10 Lite.
It is a nice-looking phone, with the latest Android OS and Snapdragon processor for its price. It appears to be quite a contender in the sub-₹10,000 segment both in terms of performance and pricing.
