Instagram Repost added to easily repost Instagram public Reels and feed posts Now users can now repost public Reels, as well as regular feed posts. This is similar to a X (formerly Twitter) or Facebook repost, which enables wide distribution of content. Reposting something, however, means that it shows up to your followers — which helps gives the original creator a visibility bump.

You can use Instagram Repost feature by simply

  • Click on the repost icon. available in every public Reel or post
  • Include a unique comment or note that displays inside of a bubble above the repost.
  • Post it to your Feed.

The addition to IGTV is part of Meta’s larger push to drive more content discovery and better creator monetization on Instagram. It also helps you keep the posts that you end up sharing, more seen and meaningful with your audience.

New Section of Instagram Friends Tab Facilitates Social Discovery

Now the Friends tab is an activity directory of sorts, showing customers material you have engaged with. Now, you can easily view:

  • Reels from Friends(Create or React)
  • Content liked or commented on by your friends.
  • It will be adding shared content between friends (i.e., Blends) on the right panel.

Step 1: From the Reels section tap on the Friends tab at the top to launch Instagram Friends tab. If you want your regular Reels feed, just swipe back and tap on “Reels.”
