Oppo Watch X3 Rumored To Launch With Pixel Watch 4 Specs

There’s a new Oppo Watch X3 incoming ‘soon’ and the early leaks point to it being a genuine rival to the Pixel Watch 4. Acting as the successor to the Oppo Watch X2 (which, of course, was also marketed globally as the OnePlus Watch 3), the Oppo Watch X3 is rumored to bring big upgrades in performance, health tracking and battery life.

Allegedly, the Oppo Watch X3 will have the Pixel Watch 4’s Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 processor, just with an extra perk: Oppo’s in-house BES2800 co-processor. That combination can surely provide the battery boost that will set the Oppo Watch X3 apart from the Pixel Watch 4 – the latter of which just managed to rate 30 hours of usage. By comparison, its predecessor, the Oppo Watch X2, clocked up to 120 hours per charge using the same BES2800 chip.

Pixel Watch 4-Tier Options With Oppo Tweaks

The Oppo Watch X3 would build upon the Pixel Watch 4 by adding features Google didn’t bother to support. Any big changes would likely be reserved for a third-gen model, maybe that rotating crown for even better navigation than Google’s smartwatch. To add to this, the Oppo Watch X3 could also sport an ECG sensor for more sophisticated health tracking, a function not usually seen on more budget-friendly smartwatches.

Oppo’s smartwatch might also be equipped with a premium-grade circular OLED display, just like the Pixel Watch 4, but this one will come with improved usability, due to the support of the crown. Leaked also suggest the Oppo Watch X3 might support all-day health monitoring, a feature that would see it pip the Pixel Watch 4 as an alternative.

Missing Features Still Unconfirmed

While the Oppo Watch X3 looks promising, but we don’t know yet stress monitoring or skin temperature sensors are present in that either yet – and we know those feature in the Pixel Watch 4. Though, given Oppo’s history with wearables, additional features might emerge closer to launch.
