The Honor Play 70m Plus 5G has debuted in China — though it’s not an entirely new product. Instead, it’s nigh on identical to the Honor Play 70 Plus 5G, complete with the same design, model number, and hardware. The big difference between the two is the price and limited color choice, which is leaving some users wondering why Honor didn’t just release a “Lite” variant from the get-go.
Pricing and Availability
The Honor Play 70m Plus 5G is available in two editions: 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. Its base variant costs 1,599 yuan, and its high-end model is 1,799 yuan. That makes the Honor Play 70m Plus 5G about 200 yuan pricier than the Honor Play 70 Plus 5G.
It’s available right now on Honor’s official China website but is not yet for sale. The sales date has not been announced by the brand.

Similar to the Play 70 Plus, the Honor Play 70m Plus 5G offers a 6.77-inch TFT LCD HD+ display with 1610×720 pixels resolution, 700 nits brightness, and aluminosilicate glass protection against scratches.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chip (which is a rebranded Snapdragon 695 5G) and comes with Adreno A619 GPU. The device runs on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15 out-of-the-box and comes with features like face unlock, app clone, smart capsule, knuckle screenshots, and e-book mode.
For photography: The rear one is equipped with a 50MP (f/1.8) main camera, capture 1080P video and up to 8x digital zoom, the front one is embedded with a 5MP Selfie Camera with Gesture and Voice-activated modes.
