It’s finally here, the AMD Radeon RX 9060 8GB GPU, and the results have been cooked up. Although not quite a killer graphics card for $250, the RX 9060 8GB sits somewhere around the mid-range in terms of performance, but is more capable at full HD gaming than an appropriately priced RTX 5050. In fact, it practically matches the RTX 5060 and RX 9060 XT performance in its class with aplomb.

Utilizing the Navi 48 GPU architecture (RDNA 4 up to October 2023), the AMD Radeon RX 9060 8GB will offer solid ray tracing and AI support as well as FSR 4 support. This is the 28 compute unit, or 1792 stream processor, part with 56 AI accelerators. Despite this, the RX 9060 8GB still maintains an advantage over the RX 9060 XT, which has 32 compute units and 64 AI accelerators.

When it comes to hardware features, the card comes equipped with 32MB of Infinity Cache, 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM at 18Gbps on a 128-bit bus, providing up to 288 GB/s bandwidth. AMD Radeon RX 9060 8GB: The RX 9060 8GB is no slouch either, with a boost clock of up to 3.0GHz, depending on the board partner model. The power requirements are modest as well — only a single 8-pin connector and a TBP of 132W.

The catch here is that the AMD Radeon RX 9060 8GB is only available in the OEM and system integrator market right now. That means it’s only available in systems pre-built for now, and this may irk those who like their PCs done by hand.

As the RX 9060 8GB Sapphire Pulse можно в некоторых популярных играх на максимальных настройках в Full HD обеспечил более чем 60 FPS. The AMD Radeon RX 9060 8GB was on average 20% faster than the RTX 5050 8GB, and almost double in more demanding titles like Red Dead Redemption 2. When going against the RTX 5060 and RX 9060 XT, the gaps were tiny – the RTX 5060 was 2% faster and the RX 9060 XT 6% faster on average, but both also cost more.”

Korean prices indicate a range of starter prices based on model from between around $250 to $280. The RX 9060 still beats the RTX 5060 and RX 9060 XT on power and is competitive in performance, even at the higher price point.

With its value proposition — faster than the RTX 5050 for the same price — the AMD Radeon RX 9060 8GB is arguably the best cheap gaming GPU of 2025 — if you can find one.
