With the release, the Android 16 QPR1 Beta 2.1 update addresses the issue where the back button didn’t actually do anything at times. Among the affected applications were some popular apps such as WhatsApp, App Vault, and the main settings interface. Some individuals needed to hit the back button repeatedly or restart apps until it worked.
One of the biggest problems resolved in the Android 16 QPR1 Beta 2.1 update is the launcher crash when swiping up from the bottom of the screen (especially when multitasking or launching apps).

Fixed Approve button on Device Admin settings went transparent, thus was not visible.

What is New in Android 16 QPR1 Beta 2.1 update:
Google has kept polishing and tending the Android 16 experience via these QPR (Quarterly Platform Release) updates. The Android 16 QPR1 Beta 2.1 brings users better UI animations and faster UI responses, along with “faster” launcher rendering, however, the changelog also mentions some backend security fixes, so presumably, the update is not just superficial.
Also, if you are already a part of the beta program, it’s a must that you take the Android 16 QPR1 Beta 2.1 update as it packs the most recent stability improvements and bug fixes.
