When Apple released the Apple Watch Series 10 in September, it also introduced an elegant new Gold Link Bracelet crafted from stainless steel.

While the Natural and Slate colors became available right away, the gold variant was not available—until now. After a two-month wait, the gold Link Bracelet for the Apple Watch can now be purchased from Apple’s online store.

However, as prominent tech journalist Mark Gurman noted on X, the initial orders won’t be shipped for another 3 to 5 weeks, so you’ll receive it just in time for Christmas.

Although the website allows you to check for pickup options at nearby Apple Stores, it appears that the gold Link Bracelet is currently out of stock everywhere. The Link Bracelet was one of the original bands created for the Apple Watch.

Made from 316L stainless steel, it consists of over 100 components. Apple states that it takes almost nine hours just to cut the links for a single bracelet. With the launch of the Series 10, Apple updated the Link Bracelet by adding new colors to complement the latest Apple Watch finishes.

It’s also important to note that the 42mm version is compatible with earlier, smaller Apple Watch models, while the 46mm version is designed for larger models, including the Ultra. Apple offers a wide variety of Apple Watch bands, which is fantastic because it allows you to choose one that suits your personal style.

However, I believe it was about time for the company to release the band that was promised at launch. While one less band may not seem significant, it reflects Apple’s recent trend of introducing features that sound appealing but aren’t immediately accessible to users. Take Apple Intelligence for the iPhone 16, for instance – it’s an impressive selling point, but not everyone has access to it yet, and not all features within this personal intelligence system are available, which can be quite frustrating.
