EA may have unwittingly revealed the Battlefield 6 release date in the small print on its pre-order promo page. So the teaser trailer for the campaign just released, and everyone is going on about an allegedly confirmed release date of October 10.
The official Battlefield 6 campaign trailer was announced on July 24, giving players a cinematic look at what to play. Yet I’m willing to bet that most people have been interested in the multiplayer, a mode that’s lain dormant up until now, when its new trailer is being published on July 31.
But even prior to the official reveal of multiplayer by EA, a renowned insider, Billbil-kun, had already shared the release date of Battlefield 6 as October 10. This leaker (who also leaked the trailer release date) also leaked the pricing for the European markets even before the trailer so there could be some weight behind the date.
Further to that leak, popular gaming news account Wario64 has drawn attention to EA’s Legal Disclaimers page for the game, on which the Battlefield 6 pre-order promo will reportedly be due to expire on October 10. Pre-order bonuses in the gaming industry, however, generally end on a game’s release date — meaning, in this case, it also means October 10 could be the launch date.
EA has yet to confirm this date officially, and because the game is still actively in development, things could be delayed. But with a multiplayer trailer on the way and reports of an early August beta test, the Battlefield 6 release date seems close to locked in.
