Sandbox MMO game Dune Awakening will release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series some one year after it arrived on PC. At Gamescom 2025, Game Director Joel Bylos offered news about the console editions and the possibility of cross-play support.
The console release is due some time next year, probably around Summer 2026. The development team is working on optimization for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, although there are several issues to deal with like textures and hardware specific shaders tweaks. These improvements are important in helping Dune Awakening perform well on all console platforms.
