Google is expected to release its hotly anticipated Pixel 10 series next month, and a new leak is already creating a buzz. Google Pixel 10 is said to deliver core hardware upgrades when compared to its predecessor, the Pixel 9, and the focus will reportedly be on battery life, display quality, and performance.
The Pixel 10 would come with a larger 4,970mAh battery, say new reports, a jump from the Pixel 9’s 4,700mAh battery. In a battery boost, the device is also rumored to offer 29W wired charging and 15W Qi2 wireless charging, so it will be faster and more efficient than ever before. This enhancement addresses exactly what one of the major consumer demands is — faster longer lasting power.
The heart of the Pixel 10 is the Google Tensor G5 SoC developed with Samsung’s 3rd generation 3nm production process. This new chip is said to offer improvements in thermal performance and power efficiency. Given that it’s paired with 12GB or RAM, we are to believe that the Pixel 10 will offer better multi-tasking and system-wide fluidity.
Pixel 10 is expected to come with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with a crisp and buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate for super fluid scrolling and visuals. Sources claim the screen will be capable of hitting a maximum HDR brightness of 2000nits, which is a marked improvement over the Pixel 9’s 1,800 nits. A layer of Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2 here is said to save the screen from scratches and drops.
In terms of photography, the Pixel 10 is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup. It could have a main 48MP camera, 12MP ultra-wide and a 10.8MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom. It’s a downgrade from the Pixel 9’s 48MP ultra-wide, but adds flexibility to mobile photography with a dedicated telephoto sensor. They even should come with gimbal-level stabilization, which will allow videographers and mobile photographers to have greater creative freedom.
Regarding the storage option, you have 128GB and 256GB coupled with 12GB RAM which means that you get a perfect phone that suits all your storage needs.
