The Infinix Note 50X 5G is set to launch in India on March 27 and is expected to disrupt the budget 5G market with its advanced software and user-friendly features.
A report from 91Mobiles indicates that the device will come equipped with XOS 15, which is based on Android 15, making it one of the first mid-range devices to adopt Google’s latest operating system.
XOS 15: A Leap in Personalization
The main feature of the update is the One-Take Wallpaper, which allows users to apply a single image to the home screen, lock screen, and various other interfaces for a unified look.
Additionally, the operating system presents a nature-inspired user interface, with animations that replicate the smooth flow of a river. Customization options have also been improved for app icons, enabling users to modify colors, shapes, and sizes.
Dynamic Bar & Gaming Innovations
Infinix has introduced the Dynamic Bar, its response to Apple’s Dynamic Island, which turns the hole-punch cutout into an interactive center for notifications and alerts.
Gamers will benefit from the enhanced Game Mode, which includes three performance presets: Power-Saving, Equilibrium, and Performance, along with a Magic Button that allows users to remap volume keys to serve as in-game triggers.
Incoming calls are automatically managed, and messages can be displayed in Bullet, Pop-up, or Flash formats to minimize interruptions.

A new Smart Panel serves as a customizable sidebar for quick access to apps and tools. Other enhancements include bypass charging, which helps reduce heat during gaming, and improved image stabilization for photography.
