Lava Blaze Dragon with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 to Debut in India on July 25; Price Said to Be Under ₹10,000
Lava Blaze Dragon is soon going to launch in India on July 25, and we already know that it is stirring excitement in the Indian budget segment. Lava has made it official that the upcoming Lava Blaze Dragon will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, one of the very few smartphones in this price segment to come with a powerful SoC from the brand.
Before the launch, a few important aspects of the Lava Blaze Dragon have been revealed, including its design, camera, specifications, and price. So here we will know more about what to expect with Lava’s next smartphone.
Lava Blaze Dragon Specs and Features
Under the hood, the Lava Blaze Dragon will feature the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, promising better power efficiency and AI processing compared to current generation Snapdragon 4-series chips. This places the Lava Blaze Dragon as a killer in the beginner category.
Design renders indicate that the Lava Blaze Dragon will be available in at least two colors — black and gold — and feature a distinctive rainbow effect around the camera module on the back. The back has a 50MP AI camera (unknown secondary sensor), and a pill-shaped LED flash.
As for the front, it will have camera for selfie shooting (8-megapixel), which can be used for taking selfies and video calling. The handset is also rumored to come with a 6.5-inch display (unconfirmed), but nothing is certain when it comes to screen specs.
Battery, Charging, and Software
The Lava Blaze Dragon may also pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging through a USB Type-C port. The 3.5mm headphone jack is a bonus for those who continue to stick with wired sound.
The phone could be based on stock Android 15, which would mean there’s no bloatware and the user interface is clean, offering pure Android experience – something that is hard to come by in the sub-Rs 10,000 category.
Storage and Variants
The Lava Blaze Dragon Will likely be available in two colorways:
- 4GB RAM + 128GB storage
- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage
It will feature UFS 3.1 storage that not only leads to faster app loading but also results in faster data transfer than eMMC storage found on most budget phones.
Lava Blaze Dragon Price in India (Expected)
As per a tipster, the Lava Blaze Dragon price in India could be less than ₹10,000, which sounds like an amazing deal for an affordable phone with a powerful chipset, stock Android experience, and camera setup.
The phone is all set to to debut in India on July 25, at 12PM IST, and will sell through Amazon India. Lava will be launching another product, the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 along with Lava BE U.
