The leaked information indicates that this upcoming iQOO device will be powered by Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 8s Elite chip (model SM8735).
Now that’s intriguing! Considering how impressive the Snapdragon 8 Elite is turning out to be, I’m really looking forward to the “s” version.
Given that the iQOO Z9 Turbo utilized the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, it’s reasonable to assume that the Z10 Turbo will be its successor, featuring the enhanced processor.
The Z10 Turbo is expected to include an OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, and a dual rear camera system with a 50MP primary sensor.
It may also support fast charging at either 80W or 90W. However, its standout feature will be its enormous single-cell battery exceeding 7,000mAh, promising outstanding battery life.
In comparison, the iQOO Z9 Turbo, which launched in April 2024, had a 6.78-inch flat OLED screen with the same resolution and refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a 50MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
It was introduced at a competitive starting price of under $300 (in China), a strategy the Z10 Turbo may also adopt. Finally, the era of 7,000mAh batteries is upon us! More battery means more power! We dream of phones that can last a full two days without needing to be charged! This is one of our wishes for 2025 (along with world peace, of course).
We’re thrilled about the recently announced Realme Neo 7 (as shown above), which boasts an impressive 7,000mAh battery.
Other brands like iQOO, OnePlus, and Redmi are rumored to be launching similar devices in 2025. A recent leak from tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo suggests an upcoming iQOO smartphone that will also feature a 7,000mAh battery, potentially called the iQOO Z10 Turbo. This is exciting news!
