Mostly recently with Nothing Phone 2, these updates included more convenient features, as well as optimization to the experience and a bug fix or two, with a new Hotspot Manager making connecting to your mobile hotspot a breeze.
Nothing OS 3.2 rollout is gradual, so do not expect all Nothing Phone 2 owners to receive the update at the same time. This phased release allows the firm to monitor potential problems better and helps make sure the update will stay stable on all devices. If you’ve yet to get this Nothing Phone 2 update, keep an eye on your phone over the next few days.
The marquee feature of this newer Nothing Phone 2 update is the Hotspot Manager. Users can now easily see and manage all devices that are connected to their hotspot with this function. It’s a nifty little trick for hot spot sharers.
Nothing OS 3.2 also takes a shot at some other pesky bugs, beyond the Hotspot Manager. (Rarely) The crash problem that Gallery app could not open videos has been fixed. The update is rifling away app’s interface display issues when certain use cases happen.
Security is another focus of the Nothing Phone 2 update. The update brings the June Android security patch, which brings fixes for vulnerabilities and exposures for Android devices. If you care about security — and you should — this Nothing OS 3.2 update is a no-brainer.
In terms of performance, you’ll notice that things are a bit smoother all around. Nothing OS 3.2 also enhances app transitions, settings navigation and general responsiveness. System stability is the most important thing in this release.
But the company said that, following the application of the update to the Nothing Phone 2, the device could run hot and use up power for a short period of time. This is part of the post-update optimisation process and will settle down soon.

And while this may not mean a huge redesign, the few practical changes are helpful for the user experience on Nothing Phone 2. With the bug fixes here, new tools and Hotspot Manager, the June security patch and just smoother performance, Nothing OS 3.2 is a pretty clear must-install update.
