Oppo is preparing to launch its upcoming gaming-centric smartphones with the Turbo model name branding and traces of the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro and Oppo K13 Turbo are already surfacing online. While the launch is not confirmed by the brand, the latest leak has revealed the arrival of the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro in China in July.
Per tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro will come with a large 6.8-inch LTPS screen that delivers a high 1.5K resolution. Instead, the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, and the regular Oppo K13 Turbo will have a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC. Both phones are anticipated to provide a strong gaming experience, potentially with built-in cooling fans.
On the camera front, both the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro and its standard model are said to also come with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor which might be a depth or macro shooter on the back. 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front It can click clear video calls and selfies.
The Oppo K13 Turbo Pro could have one specific standout feature in the form of the cooling mechanism, which is tipped to feature an active cooling fan—something that gamers may find useful while playing heavy games over long hours. The Oppo K13 Turbo Pro should be available in black, purple and silver colours, and the Oppo K13 Turbo could be launched in black, white and purple options. A live shot of the K13 Turbo also appeared online back in April revealing a blue model with RGB LED strips on the back – hinting at a gamer-focused design.
The Oppo K13 Turbo Pro will come in up to 16GB RAM and 512GB of inbuilt storage as per previous leaks. The device might have a 144Hz refresh rate as well, which would make it more powerful and lead to a smoother display. In addition, it could be dust and water resistant with IPX8 rating.
