Oppo is anticipated to unveil the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro in China on November 25. A recent report indicates that this mid-range series will be exclusive to China until early next year.
According to reliable leaker Sudhanshu (via 91mobiles), the Oppo Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro are expected to launch in India sometime in January 2025.
The introduction of these phones in India next year essentially confirms that the Reno 13 series will go global just a few months after its debut in China. Among the two, the Pro model appears to be the more intriguing option.
A previous report suggests that the Reno 13 Pro will be the first smartphone in the world to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 processor.
Most of the leaked information to date has focused on the Reno 13 Pro, making it unclear what chipset will be used in the standard model. In fact, nearly every report we have received about the Reno 13 series has focused on the Pro model, likely due to its notable features. However, Oppo may opt for a different hardware configuration for the global version of the Reno 13. Until Oppo officially introduces the Reno 13 series in China, here’s what we know about the Pro model.
Initially, the Reno 13 Pro is rumored to have a 6.78-inch quad-curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. It is expected to include a triple camera setup (50 MP main, 50 MP telephoto with 3x digital zoom, 8 MP ultra-wide) along with an impressive 50 MP front camera. A significant upgrade over the Reno 12 series is that the Reno 13 Pro will boast a large 5,900 mAh battery, compared to the 5,000 mAh battery of its predecessor.
Additionally, the Reno 13 phones are expected to carry an IP68/69 rating for water and dust resistance. Currently, details regarding the pricing of the Reno 13 series are not available, but we will have more information in just a few weeks when the phone is launched in China.
