PUBG PS4 Xbox One Support Ending in 2025 as Game Moves to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S

PUBG Studios has made it official PUBG PS4 Xbox One support ending on 13 November 2025. The move is a significant change for the battle royale title that has been playable on last-gen consoles for some time, with the title only being available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S after that date.

Need a stable game environment and smoother updates ahead, PUBG says in an official statement on breaking with older hardware a platform progression process. And this transition is completely in line with the 2025 roadmap that aims to maximize the game on next-gen consoles.

PUBG Studios admitted this would be disappointing news for relatively aging PS4 and Xbox One players out there but notes that PUBG PS4 Xbox One support ending is not a decision made without thought. The studio thanked fans for eight years on last-gen platforms saying, “We still remember the epic battles, the nail biting moments, and the spirit of players united.”
