The Samsung Galaxy XCover 8 Pro, set to replace the XCover 6 Pro, has been revealed through leaks prior to its official launch.
A Geekbench listing (via 91Mobiles and Gadgets 360) with the model number SM-G766U1 confirms the phone’s key specifications, which include a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, 5.21GB of RAM, and Android 15 pre-installed.
In benchmark tests, the device achieved scores of 1,157 for single-core performance and 3,288 for multi-core performance, indicating a significant improvement over the Snapdragon 778G found in its predecessor.
Design & Certification
The TUV Rheinland certification for the XCover 8 Pro (model numbers SM-G766B/U/U1/W) suggests that there will be global variants.
Similar to previous XCover models, it is anticipated to have an IP68 rating and MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability, which makes it suitable for harsh environments. A 4,265mAh battery is also rumored to be included, although the charging speeds have yet to be verified.
