In a recent post on X (previously known as Twitter) Tesla India has confirmed that the company’s website now allows all the customers from all over the country to directly order via the dealership. Even CEO Elon Musk re-shared the update, furthering the excitement for the brand’s arrival in India.
The announcement is a significant step for Tesla in India after months of speculation over the automaker’s official foray into the market. “Everyone in India can now get their hands on this legendary sandwich,” according to the post. The update also said that customers in four cities in India will get priority delivery for the Tesla vehicles.

For the first phase, this delivery will focus on the below cities:
- Mumbai
- Pune
- Delhi
- Gurugram
And these urban areas are the most densely populated metros that are likely to gain access first to all of the Teslas’ fancy EVs.

According to the update, the customers from opt-in markets will now be able to place orders for Tesla vehicles directly through the website.
