In a press release announcing the premiere, Xiaomi India Chief Operating Officer Sudhin Mathur said the Redmi 15 5G to debut on August 19 will represent this evolution.
From China to India
Stated to be the Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11 Pro, both devices are expected to continue as a part of Xiaomi’s post-November 2024 plan of utilizing the new Redmi logo and identity that was first presented by the company with the launch of the aforementioned Redmi K80 series. This visual refresh will now reach other markets, as well, with India heading the rollout outside China by getting this change through the upcoming Redmi 15 5G launch.
